Poison Free Life!
I ended up in outpatients on the beginning of 2022 and was told that my digestion has just stopped. I underwent an elimination diet ordered by my physician, and was told 10 weeks later that bread had become my body's enemy. It was suggested that I become gluten-free.
Four three and a half years I did this. I only ate certified gluten-free items, I looked at all my labels looking for indicators of wheat, rye and barley before purchasing. This was all very tedious, but it was what I was told to do to help my situation. For a while it seemed to help, but things weren't running as smoothly in my digestion as I would have hoped.
Then in the beginning of 2025 I went on a vacation to New Zealand, and after just one day of being there eating the food straight from their grocery store, somehow, magically, my digestions was perfect. It was crazy, for the entirety of my trip I had never felt better in my gut than I did since I was a child. To be honest, I didn't want to leave because my body felt great, I was sleeping better, had more energy, and was able to do things I hadn't been capable of for a long time due to lethargy.
After one day back in North America, I had what I knew to be gluten-free food, and I was immediately shot down with a headache, gut pain and bloating. I felt awful and I wanted to know why. I called my doctor to set up an appointment to ask why thing was happening. I actually went through Celiac testing which came back negative even though my experience was horrendous. So what was it? What was causing my gut to hate any kind of bread weather it be normal bread or gluten-free bread?
I did research into what this could mean. I had read many articles and heard from people with Celiac in North America that had claimed that when they traveled to Europe and other countries that they were able to eat regular bread without issue. This made me curious, so for months I did many types of food experiments on myself all while reporting back to my doctor, and after almost a year of doing this, I finally found out what my gut hated so much! POISON!
Yep, you read that correctly, poison, I am talking about the poisons that are sprayed onto our foods here in North America. Pesticides, herbicides and fungicides! These are poisons, and they are quite terrible for my health and probably for the health of millions of others who don't even realize this is happening to them. You see in New Zealand and in some other countries across the world, they don't use these poisons on their crops like we do in North America, and this is exactly why my body loved the food while on my vacation.
I removed all poisons from my diet and Now I feel so much better. You see it's easy to wash these off your fruits and vegetables, but you can't do this to grains. Grains are sprayed and processed with these poisons seeped into them, so any bread, cookies and even loose flours that are not certified organic will have these poisons in them. I have found a granary in Québec that uses the same standards of being organic as they do in France, and a local bakery in my town uses flours specifically from this granary. I can eat everything from this local bakery and I am ecstatic. I have also found a few specialty shops that sell flours from Ukraine and Ireland, which don't use poisons, and I can bake with them. There are even processed products imported from New Zealand, Australia, Japan and European countries that don't use poisons that I am able to purchase and eat.
I have been eating like this now for five months, and everything is as it should be. I feel great, I have my energy back. I have the ability to deal with my injuries and chronic pain problems better because I am putting the right nutrition in my body and I am not poisoning myself anymore.
I am sharing this because I feel it is important, and I hope that anyone who reads this can possibly make this change to see if it helps them and their gut issues or random inflammation that came from nowhere. Just six weeks of eating organic grains could change the way your body feels and your gut digests food. Give it a try and see what happens. It's honestly easier than being gluten-free, and cheaper.
